RASHEED ALI / Presenter
Rasheed Ali (born in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Marshanette and Bilal), is an American actor, model, entertainment personality and singer. He is also a martial artist, humanitarian and public speaker. Rasheed began his career at the age of 17, but credits the discovery of his love for entertaining to an incident where, at the age of 2, at an event with his parents, he broke away from his nanny and ran onto the stage during a performance and shouted “It’s possible!” Along with the performers.
He began his humanitarianism at the age of 12, when he won a “contribution to science” award from the US Department of the Interior and continued on to deliver a speech in front of the attorney general. In 2013, after disappointments with several modeling and talent agencies, Rasheed was cast by Stephen King and Jason Levering as Hallorann in the on stage adaptation of “The Shining, A Play”.
He continued on to take on roles in many films and short films, performed live as an opener for Lil Eazy E, (son of the late Eazy E of NWA), did both stand up and sketch comedy and eventually became a guest on his sister’s radio show “Redefining HERstory” which eventually led him to another form of entertainment: podcasting. Embracing his love for podcasting, radio and music, he has now added “Radio Personality” to his entertainment industry “utility belt” and looks forward to all the new possibilities the future holds.
